3. Data Center Interconnect (DCI): Europe is a region with a high concentration of cloud computing and data centers globally. Networks within data centers and between campuses require frequent high-density expansion and upgrades. Air-blown fiber optic cables are characterized by their small diameter, light weight, ease of stripping, and low coefficient of friction. They can be laid extremely quickly in existing conduits, and if a new type of fiber needs to be replaced later (such as upgrading from traditional single-mode to ultra-low-loss fiber), the old micro-cable can be directly blown out and the new cable installed, greatly shortening the data center upgrade cycle.
