Latest company news about Aixton's newest aerial cable

The structure of the standard 8-shaped self-supporting layer-stranded optical cable is to insert a single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber into a loose tube made of high-modulus plastic, and the tube is filled with a water-blocking compound. The center of the cable core is a metal strengthening core. For some optical cables with a certain number of cores, a layer of polyethylene needs to be extruded outside the metal strengthening core. The loose tube (and filling rope) is twisted around the central strengthening core to form a compact and The cable core is circular, and the gaps in the core are filled with water-blocking fillers. The cable core is longitudinally covered with a steel-plastic composite tape, and placed parallel to the steel strands while extruding an 8-shaped sheath to form a cable.

Features:

l Precise control of the excess length of the optical fiber ensures that the optical cable has good tensile properties and temperature characteristics;

l The loose tube material itself has good hydrolysis resistance and high strength, and the tube is filled with special ointment, which provides key protection for the optical fiber;

l There is no need to place additional steel strands during erection, increasing the construction speed by 3-4 times;

l Take the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cable:

Single steel wire central reinforcement, loose tube filled with special fiber paste, 100% cable core filling, double-sided plastic-coated steel strip (PSP) to improve the moisture resistance of the cable, and good water-blocking materials to prevent longitudinal water seepage of the cable.

l Operating temperature: -40°C to +60°C;

l Bending radius: static 10D, dynamic 20D;

l Applicable: self-supporting overhead, span less than 200m.
