Latest company news about LSZH/LS0H material

LSZH/LS0H (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) is a low-smoke, halogen-free flame-retardant cable material primarily used to replace traditional halogen-containing flame retardants. This material exhibits low smoke, low toxicity, and low corrosion properties during combustion, making it suitable for applications in power cables, communications equipment, and rail transit.

This material originated from European research on the carcinogenicity of halogen-containing flame retardants in the 1980s and has gradually become the preferred choice for utility cables since 2001. Its core technologies include intumescent flame retardant technology, polymer nanotechnology, and metallocene-catalyzed polymerization, with performance enhanced through interfacial compatibility and anti-aging treatment. This product complies with the IEC 60332 flame propagation standard and ASTM E662 smoke density test, exhibiting high flame retardancy (LOI temperature index > 350°C), resistance to environmental cracking (elongation at break > 200%), and excellent heat deformation resistance (hanging at 120°C for 240 hours). The establishment of the European FROCC Association has further promoted the standardization of halogen-free polyolefin cable materials.
