Due to the demand for high-definition video, each network cable and power supply can usually only connect one camera and power supply to ensure sufficient voltage supply and avoid the equipment from not working properly. In the market, there are two main materials for this type of network cable and power supply: copper-clad aluminum and oxygen-free copper. However, for monitoring high-definition cables, oxygen-free copper is necessary because it has the characteristics of low resistance, long transmission distance, and safety and reliability. In addition, the eight-core network cable with power supply integrated cable is better and more stable in transmission performance than the four-core network cable with power supply integrated cable.
In the application of monitoring high-definition cables, although the four-core network cable connection can meet the basic transmission needs, its performance is indeed different from that of the eight-core network cable with power supply integrated cable. Therefore, in the pursuit of higher transmission performance and stability, the eight-core network cable with power supply integrated cable will undoubtedly be a more suitable choice. Of course, for some simple monitoring needs, the four-core network cable connection is sufficient to cope with it, and its connection method is relatively simple and convenient. However, in actual applications, we still need to choose the appropriate network cable type and connection method according to the specific monitoring needs and transmission distance.
