The structure of the GYXTW optical cable is that the 250μm optical fiber is sheathed in a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. A layer of double-sided plastic-coated steel strip (PSP) is used to wrap the loose tube outside longitudinally. Water-blocking material is added between the steel strip and the loose tube to ensure the compactness of the optical cable and longitudinal water-blocking. Two parallel steel wires are placed on both sides and then extruded Vinyl sheathed cables.
The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tube is wrapped with a layer of PSP longitudinally. Between the PSP and the loose tube water- blocking material is applied to keep the cable compact and watertight. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides of the steel tape. The cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
