Aixton ODF -Optic cable distribution frame

ODF (Optical Distribution Frame) is a fiber optic wiring equipment designed for fiber optic communication rooms. It has the functions of optical cable fixing and protection, optical cable termination, line adjustment, and protection of optical cable core and pigtail. It can be assembled into an optical fiber distribution frame alone, or installed in a cabinet/frame with a digital wiring unit and an audio wiring unit. It constitutes a comprehensive distribution frame. The equipment has flexible configuration, simple installation and use, easy maintenance, and convenient management. It is an indispensable device for fiber optic communication cable network terminals or relay points to realize fiber arrangement, fiber jumper cable welding and access. It is an important supporting equipment in the optical transmission system, mainly used for fiber optic welding of optical cable terminals, installation of optical connectors, adjustment of optical paths, storage of excess pigtails and protection of optical cables, etc. It plays an important role in the safe operation and flexible use of optical fiber communication networks. In the past, the optical cables used in optical communication construction usually had a few to dozens of cores, and the capacity of the optical fiber distribution frame was generally less than 100 cores. These optical fiber distribution frames increasingly showed shortcomings such as small pigtail storage capacity, inconvenient deployment and connection operations, fewer functions, and simple structures. Optical communication has been widely used in long-distance trunk lines and local network relay transmission, and fiber opticization has also become the development direction of access networks. In the construction of new optical fiber networks, various places try to use large-core optical cables, which puts higher requirements on the capacity, function and structure of optical fiber distribution frames.
