Latest company news about Fiber optic splice closure test requirements-Aixton

After the optical fiber joint is protected by the joint box, it should be protected from moisture corrosion, should not increase the attenuation of the optical fiber joint before protection, and meet the following requirements:
Optical performance
The remaining optical fiber in the optical cable joint box is coiled in the optical fiber placement device. During the installation and use of the optical cable joint box, the optical fiber joint should not have obvious additional attenuation.
Sealing performance
After the optical cable joint box is sealed according to the prescribed operating procedures, the inflation pressure in the optical cable joint box is (100±5) kPa. After being immersed in a container of clean water at room temperature for 15 minutes, there should be no bubbles escaping, or the barometer indication should be unchanged after stable observation for 24 hours.
Resealing performance
The optical cable joint box is tested after being sealed three times according to the prescribed operating procedures. The inflation pressure in the optical cable joint box is l00kPa±5kPa. After being immersed in a container of clean water at room temperature for 15 minutes, there should be no bubbles escaping, or the barometer indication should be unchanged after stable observation for 24 hours.
