the T568B wiring sequence (white-orange, orange, white-green, blue, white-blue, green, white-brown, brown). Use a wire straightener or manually straighten the wire cores to ensure neat arrangement.
Crimping and Fixing: Use a punch-down tool to firmly press the module, ensuring full contact between the wire cores and the contact blades. Then, twist the aluminum-magnesium braided wire and ground wire into the metal casing, ensuring good contact with the metal casing, and close the module cover. Secure the module with a cable tie and cut off any excess.
Testing and Verification: Use a network tester to test the connection. If the indicator lights flash sequentially from 1 to G (ground), the wiring is successful; otherwise, check the wire sequence or re-crimp.
Key Considerations
You must strictly follow the T568B wiring sequence. The shielding layer must be reliably connected to the metal casing to ensure anti-interference performance.
The stripping length should not be too long (2-3 cm is recommended) to avoid affecting the shielding effect; the crimping force should be even to prevent damage to the module.
If using RJ45 connectors, a Category 7 dedicated network cable crimping tool is required, and pay attention to the secure crimping of the strain relief clip.
