The next step up from standard Cat5e cable, Cat6 is a "4 twisted pairs" network cable used for 1000Base-T Ethernet applications up to 550MHz, can also provide at speed of 10G rate with 30-40m transmission distance. This cable
is used for the high-speed transmission of voice and data between central and peripheral systems for frequencies up to 200MHz,for E Class applications in structured cabling systems for buildings.
